Man vs. Computer: Still a Match (washingtonpost.com) - Charles Krauthammer

Charles Krauthammer is my favorite political columnist - the man has a practical head on his shoulders.

He usually writes about politics, but for his November 21, 2003 article, he wrote about chess at Man vs. Computer: Still a Match (washingtonpost.com).

The article presents an interesting view on the ubiquitous world of digital machines - showing their advantages - and - limitations.

Forbes.com: All Eyes on Google

There it is again - Internet "ubiquity".

At Forbes.com: All Eyes on Google it is written:

"But Google has become much more than merely a search service. It is a daily tool and main entry point for millions of users, stealing the spotlight from the browser (Explorer or whatever) and Internet portals like Yahoo. It is a labor of love for programmers, who have built applications off of Google and posted them like trophies on the Web. One does a 'smackdown,' comparing the Internet ubiquity of two words ('love' beats 'money,' but not by much); another creates poems (see slideshow)."

TIME Magazine: Coolest Inventions 2003, Apple Music Store

There it is. Ubiquitous is in!

At least based on a Time Magazine article about the Coolest Inventions 2003, Apple Music Store where we find the phrase "ubiquitous camera cell phones".

Just plug
define: ubiquitous
into your Google searchbar or Google search box
to get those definitions of this "ever present" word.

Ubiquitous Pundit - The Ubiquitous Omnipresence

NCES defines "ubiquitous" as

Existing or being everywhere, or in all places, at the same time; omnipresent.

The concept of "ubiquitous computing" is seen as the next stage in computing, where anyone can access from anywhere.

The concept of ubiquitous computing was first advocated by Mark Weiser.

UbiComp 2003, the Fifth International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing, was held October 12-15, 2003 in Seattle, Washington.

There are also journals on the topic:
Personal and Ubiquitious Computing
IEEE Pervasive Computing

In the mobile world these are known as "always on/everywhere communications".
