Ubiquitous Pundit - The Ubiquitous Omnipresence

NCES defines "ubiquitous" as

Existing or being everywhere, or in all places, at the same time; omnipresent.

The concept of "ubiquitous computing" is seen as the next stage in computing, where anyone can access from anywhere.

The concept of ubiquitous computing was first advocated by Mark Weiser.

UbiComp 2003, the Fifth International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing, was held October 12-15, 2003 in Seattle, Washington.

There are also journals on the topic:
Personal and Ubiquitious Computing
IEEE Pervasive Computing

In the mobile world these are known as "always on/everywhere communications".
